My Spirit Animal !!
I'd like to say my spirit animal is a stingray I feel as if they're very distant towards each other & that is one of the similar straits I share with a stingray. Stingrays live in the ocean & If I were to be in one place in the world for the rest of my life I’d choose the ocean, I feel as if the ocean is just peaceful in general, so maybe that's why I chose a stingray as my spirit animal. I also feel as if Stingrays are somewhat spiritual & more in debt than any other sea animal or mammal.
What’s your spirit animal ?

The Worst Day Of School
The Worst Day Of School
As I walked into class I felt as if it was a normal day at school, till I read the events on the board and it said “Finding out our classes for 2019”, suddenly I had gotten a tingling feeling of nervousness that hit me.
Later on that day Mrs. Fonua had gotten us prepared with our folders and our “All About Me” posters that we needed to give to our new teachers. I didn’t really think much it because I thought we’d all just get our old classes back with just a few new students but little did I know I was in for a big surprise.
As Morning tea had pasted by I knew it was getting closer and closer to finding out what class we were all in, I had felt as if time was just going by rapidly and the world was going to end. Suddenly the bell rang for the end of Morning tea I began to get anxious, I was worried to see which classes we were all in and which friends I was going to be separated from.
Room 12 were told to line up in front of Room 11 and make our way to the meeting space on the court. As we sat down on the turf Miss Wrack had announced the first class for 2019 as time had flown by Room 12’s class started to be announced, I wasn’t paying attention because I didn’t feel the need to care, but then out of nowhere I heard “Angel, Giselle, Bridget & Alanna” as our names were said at last.
As we walked along to Room 12 Mr. Raj had introduced himself for the people who didn’t know too much about who he was and what class he was previously teaching along with him introducing himself people had started to shed some tears but, Angel was the person that stood out to me the most she had started crying as if it was the end if the world.
Later on Mr. Raj had asked the class to go on the field so we’re able to play a quick game with our new class for next year. As we had arrived at the field Mr. Raj asked “What game should we play?”, we all wanted to play different games so we all made our own games up. Alanna and I weren’t feeling motivated to play so we sat on the side of the field and watched the others play.
Our time as a new class had passed Mr. Raj had advised us to go back to our old classes so we did, Mrs. Fonua had left so we had to go wait in Room 11, but I was helping setting up the class so Lenitah, Anna, Some others and I stayed back in class. Apart of Room 12 had started to come back inside then for a moment everybody started crying like the world was close to ending, we felt as if we were dying slowly and painfully, not because of the new class we’re in but because of all the people were not going to be around and the teacher we’re no longer going to have as our own.

Jeffree the clown !
Jeffree the clown is a clown I sketched to use for the art exhibition our school is hosting. I decided to do a art piece on a clown because I liked the idea of scary/Halloween art, I enjoyed creating this wonderful art piece for the art exhibition. I had gotten the inspiration from penny wise the clown then turned the clown in to my version of Jeffree the clown.
What did you think about the clown I created ?
If you were able to create your own clown what colors and shapes would you use to create a clown ? and what would you name him/her ?

Proud Samoan !
Talofa, and Afio mai (welcome) to my blog. My name is Bridget. I am a year 8 student currently attending Glen Taylor School. I am in Room 12 & Mr Raj is my teacher for 2019. I am Samoan, American Samoan & Maori. I am the second oldest, I have 4 sisters no brothers. In my spare time I enjoy laughing and joking around with my family.
I enjoy writing narratives at school that are based on fictional characters that I enjoy bringing to life in my writing pieces. Math is one of the learning areas that are challenging for me. My goals for this year are to improve in every learning area possible.
I am looking forward to making new friends, and making the most of my last year at Glen Taylor School. Someone that inspires me to strive for my best is Mrs. Fonua. She motivates everyone to always give 100% in all there learning, she always stays humble no matter what situation she’s in and she’s just kind overall.

How things fly ?
How Planes & Helicopters work.
Gravity is one of the main causes for planes, Helicopters & Kites to fly. Not many people would think to write an explain about this topic, so if you’ve ever wondered how these objects are able to fly there here’s a piece of writing for your curious mind.
Helicopters & Planes are very similar when it comes to flying, they both have propellers and are both need a pilot to control the Helicopter & Plane.
Planes are flown by a set of propeller which are attached to each wing on each side of the Plane.
Propellers help each of these engines by creating wind for the engine to fly and glide along with the wind that is created. Which is very similar to the Helicopter, the propellers do the exact same thing except the, propeller is placed above the helicopter and are bigger than the propellers attached to the planes.

Explain The Properties Of Water
Explain the property of water
Water can be used in many different ways,
Water temperatures behave differently, towards food coloring and liquids.
Through a science experiment I found that food coloring behaves differently
towards different types of Temperatures of water.

Water Temperatures
We noticed that the warmer the temperature was the faster the food coloring
dissolved, and the cooler the water the longer it takes to dissolve with the food
coloring. We also noticed that when we put the ruler in the water, the water made
an illusion where the ruler was bent from a, side angle and from another view the
ruler was wider than it normally was.

The benefits of water
Consuming 8 glasses/cups of water is very healthy and is able to help your
digestive system flush all the solids down. You may think 8 cups of water is too
much for you to digest but drinking this amount of water does come with benefits by,
hydrating your skin, living a better lifestyle and many more benefits.

What water particles are able to do
Our teacher explained that when you leave the water and let the particles join as one,
it creates a thin layer of skin but still is transparent. So when Coree’s team somehow made the needle float
it was because they let the water form together and create a transparent skin for the sewing needle to float.
