How Planes & Helicopters work.

Gravity is one of the main causes for planes, Helicopters & Kites to fly. Not many people would think to write an explain about this topic, so if you’ve ever wondered how these objects are able to fly there here’s a piece of writing for your curious mind.

Helicopters & Planes are very similar when it comes to flying, they both have propellers and are both need a pilot to control the Helicopter & Plane.

Planes are flown by  a set of propeller which are attached to each wing on each side of the Plane.

Propellers help each of these engines by creating wind for the engine to fly and glide along with the wind that is created. Which is very similar to the Helicopter, the propellers do the exact same thing except the, propeller is placed above the helicopter and are bigger than the propellers attached to the planes.

Kite Experience

Yesterday Room 12 & Room 5 had made kites, as our buddy class project. My buddy for kite making was Bethany, Room 12 & Room 5 had a lot of fun creating and flying the kites we created.

Explain the property of water

Water can be used in many different ways,

Water temperatures behave differently, towards food coloring and liquids.
Through a science experiment I found that food coloring behaves differently
towards different types of Temperatures of water.

Water Temperatures

We noticed that the warmer the temperature was the faster the food coloring
dissolved, and the cooler the water the longer it takes to dissolve with the food
coloring. We also noticed that when we put the ruler in the water, the water made
an illusion where the ruler was bent from a, side angle and from another view the
ruler was wider than it normally was.

The benefits of water

Consuming 8 glasses/cups of water is very healthy and is able to help your
digestive system flush all the solids down. You may think 8 cups of water is too
much for you to digest but drinking this amount of water does come with benefits by,
hydrating your skin, living a better lifestyle and many more benefits.

What water particles are able to do

Our teacher explained that when you leave the water and let the particles join as one,
it creates a thin layer of skin but still is transparent. So when Coree’s team somehow made the needle float
it was because they let the water form together and create a transparent skin for the sewing needle to float.
